| If the answer is yes, we would love to have you apply for membership. Current members may sponsor you, or you may nominate yourself for membership. Either way, you will need to complete the Phi Delta Kappa International Membership Application. (Click on the link at the bottom of this page.) Individuals are eligible for membership in the Alamo Chapter of PDK who are of good character, declare a commitment to PDK's goals and objectives, have a scholastic record sufficient for an advanced degree, and one of the following: 1.) Persons who have a baccalaureate degree and/or credentialed for teaching and who are active in a position requiring teacher certification or in educational work in adult and continuing education, educational research, early childhood education, elementary education, school administration or supervision, secondary education, teacher education, higher education, or any other education-related field as identified by the chapter. 2.) Undergraduate education majors who are enrolled in or have successfully completed student teaching. 3.) Students admitted to a graduate program in education. We are now taking applcations.
